Ileana Garcia is an Associate at Lapekas Law, P.A. She earned her L.L.M degree in Taxation at the University of Miami’s School of Law. Ileana is a 2019-2020 Tax Fellow of the Florida Bar’s Tax Section.

Ileana primarily focuses on representing her clients before the IRS on all matters, including assisting her clients in requesting offers in compromise, installment agreements, and appealing IRS audit and collection actions. Ileana can assist with penalty abatements, FBAR issues, and tax court litigation. Ileana is also capable of taking on matters against the Florida Department of Revenue and any other state and local tax related issues.
